Hamilton, Ontario - Wednesday, December 6^th, 2011 - The network's directors, Julio Bruno and Nick Di Luca, collaborated earlier this year in opening CSN Collision & Glass' very first Hamilton, Ontario location: AUTO 53 Collision ~ CSN located at 1154 Rymal Road. Over the last few months, the new shop owners have been diligently working on implementing a number of changes to the newly purchased collision repair facility. From front office renovations to training the technicians about the advantages of Akzo Nobel's PCE Journey, the directors' have incorporated these standards within the new shop to the level of quality upheld within their existing locations.

Once these systems and upgrades were in place, it came time to celebrate the new CSN location and its commitment to giving back to the community. Julio Bruno and Nick Di Luca have been strong participants of Akzo Nobel's Benevolence Program for nearly 10 years. The timing could not have been better to celebrate the gift of giving. Industry partners, local businesses and a number of employees from various CSN locations gathered at AUTO 53 Collision ~ CSN for lunch, refreshments and to present a refurbished car to a family in need.


  

The recipient was one of many candidates that were requested to provide to a panel of judges, including a local charity, a letter explaining the benefits of owning a vehicle and describing how this vehicle will change everyday life for the better. The judges chose the story of a single working mother of two girls who desperately needed a vehicle to enhance their current quality of life as a family.

Nick Di Luca and Julio Bruno would like to thank all those who have supported this project, with a special thank you to Wayne Loker of AVIVA Canada for donating the salvaged automobile, thank you to Dan Lawrie Insurance of Hamilton in assisting the family with their first year of automotive insurance coverage and thank you to CAA for providing the family one year of roadside assistance.
